As a constant student of history, I have studied wars, and wars, and wars. And, their affect on humanity. What I have noticed is that many wars are a pickup game, from the war before, and the war before that. This is so, because war does not take care of the long term issue, only the small problems that are currently causing unrest. Nonetheless, the real issues have been festering for years, and, sometimes, centuries. Which is to say, when you delve deeply into the reasons for a current war, you will find long standing resentments and envy that are the mix at the bottom of the pit of wars.
I became interested in what makes war mongers tick during the Viet Nam war. I also became a supporter of peace. Not halts in the wars, but in working on the issues of the wars. It is complex, too true. But that doesn’t mean it cannot be done. I especially point my thoughts and actions towards the younger generation. It is they that have a future to lose. So forget the global warming, it is the violence that falls heavily on young men that concerns me.
The video is a brief history of modern wars, and the old men who send young men to fight. This is first in a series.
