Remember the Tower of Babel

Now the whole world had one language and a common speech.

In this crazy, muddled world we presently inhabit, we point the finger at out-of-control migration as the keystone for this present day madness. Mass migrations is a problem because European and American lefties are naive to think we can simply throw another culture, or cultures, into our melting pots, and everything will be hunky dory. They didn’t get the memo that the Abrahamic god purposely scattered people throughout the Earth. Because, according to Genesis, the folks that got off the big boat Noah built, all spoke the same language. And then, as a slap to their god, who promised them no more world floods, they decided to build a tower, that reached heaven, so that they could  rescue themselves from another flood.

Their god, Yahweh, did not like this idea one bit. These humans, obviously, didn’t believe him. Yahweh then confused their languages, so that they could not cooperate with one another. Naturally, the humans started arguing, and then they picked up their marbles and left. Thus were differing cultures created. 

I rather like the idea about different languages and cultures. Makes life on Earth so much more interesting. I confess, I couldn’t stand it if everyone was the same. Think about it. It’s boring. Furthermore, all this DEI stuff is rather like building a tower of Babel. It shows no faith. It also shows very little creativity in thinking. It is a slap in the face to diversity. Because we need that diversity spread out, to prove our uniqueness. In the real world, variety is a natural system that uses different people for different jobs. Not everyone can sew, not everyone can build a machine, not everyone can run a company, not everyone can preach a good sermon.

If everyone is the same, nothing gets done. Certainly no innovation takes place. 

 The powers that be need to learn that. Because now they are tearing their hair out, over the recent riots in England that took place when a son of immigrants, probably some refugee family, knifed 23 girls, killing three of them. This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. Indeed, if you are a reader of British news, you know that knifings are a common crime. 

The political classes thought, and think, they can keep pushing their native population to continually accept these immigrants that don’t want to adopt Western culture. So the 17 year old boy that went on this murdering spree was the straw the broke the camel’s back.

In this discussion I include the “moderate” right, because they have failed to grapple with this issue effectively. In UK, the Tories allowed this stupidity to continue for years. The stupidity being forcing people to accept the newcomers when the newcomers have no intention of going native. Some of them cannot because of their religion. Any religion that encourages the world to adopt it will not succeed in the West. Fundamentalists of any religion will be sidelined, laughed at, and thought of as a cult. Except Islam is a huge cult. Their followers will use violence on a massive scale to get their way. After all, Islam became a big player because it used violence to convert entire countries. Which makes them a pain in the arse to deal with in the Western cultures. We are open societies that take things on face value.  

We have an ongoing history with Islam that is not pleasant. We cannot trust them because they do not control the violence that brews in their own neighborhoods. Two countries in Europe do not have this issue. One is Switzerland, which has strict requirements for those who would join their club. One of those requirements is that a person who wishes to live in Switzerland must prove their willingness to become Swiss. One has to fit in, or get out. 

Excellent policy.

I like the Swiss because they were able to blend their citizens even though they speak four different languages; French, German, Italian, and the ancient tongue, Romansh. This is a testament that there can be different languages spoken, and still be Swiss because the other aspects of Western culture are accepted. The Swiss are for the Swiss. They have their standards, and the hell with anyone who doesn’t buy into their program. You cannot come and live among them unless you too want to be Swiss. And that includes being willing to keep your weapon ready to go in case of an invasion. Their politics are also different, so living in Switzerland is about the individual conforming to their system. One doesn’t hear of fake intellectuals talking about improving the Swiss system.

True, not all who live in that tiny country are there as citizens. Some are permanent guests, with money and prestige. They still had to pass muster to live there. Hungary is the other country that controls its borders. One can find a few celebrities living in that nation because it is safer. If only the other nations in the West would do the same, the world would be a better place. And perhaps the citizens of those other nations that produce many refugees, their citizens could learn to shoot their psychotic leaders instead of bowing to them. 

As the world gets smaller in terms of travel time, and since humanity has a penchant for world trade, it would be best, at the very least, to study other cultures. Learning a language is a good beginning. Plus delving into the psychology of people who allow the narcissist and psychopaths to rule them, gives insight. Because it is those  psycho leaders, and the people who support them, that produce the world’s refugees. As the adage says, it takes only one rotten apple to spoil the bushel full. So let’s go for them, these spoilers, and let’s not be nice about it. Well, that is sort of the way Israel operates by picking off the leaders of psychopathic organizations like Hamas, even when they are in not in Palestine. Sure, after one country kills a psycho who is a guest in another country, the host country will rattle its sabres. But will they really go to war over the death of a dimwit they invited in? Or will that lead to the end of inviting these creeps in in the first place? 

Another adage comes into play; lie down with dogs, get up with fleas…

Religions don’t just bring people together, it is the glue that holds them. Islam is a cultural binding. And yet, as the Earth’s people eschew religions, Islam is the exception. It is the youngest of the Abrahamic religions. It needs a good reformation. Mostly, it needs the world’s peoples to not enable them in their rages against the West.  And the West needs to practice a bit more cultural understanding when it sees that China won’t tolerate Islam. Too bad China won’t tolerate dictators as well. However, China is not the West, and China has a different culture, one that has had dictators, called emperors, for thousands of years. Actually, there is no difference in how these two political systems behave. The only reason China had a flirtation with Western systems of government is because the West had descended on China in the 19th century. We brought our arrogance with us, and encouraged the Chinese to go democratic. Which they did, and then brought in Mao to lead them.

That comes under the adage of: Be careful for what you wish for.

Which brings round the question: Can human beings of various cultures coincide within a smaller space? Like a city? A county? A state? Or within a large country?

India is quite large, but it is less tolerate when it comes to different cultures within its borders. India gets it, that for a nation to exist it must have a unifying glue. That glue is culture. Which is a language and a belief system. That belief system includes its gods, which may range from religious to political, and its art, plus, their way of defining themselves sexually. True, India was under the control of their British masters, but they got rid of them, because a fantastic leader stepped forth to organize the rebellion. India absorbed much from the British, and many from India migrated to England. But in England, they became British, not Indians living in Britain. Their children had an upbringing like the children of the native born. Children want to fit in, unless they are being brainwashed by angry parents.

Aye, there’s the rub. To migrate successfully, the migrant children need local names, they need to play European games, and, to be allowed to convert to Christianity, or become an agnostic, both okay for fitting into Western society. But to keep the old ways and the old gods means the migrant doesn’t want to let go of his country. If that is so, the migrant needs to return to where he or she is comfortable. 

There are those that think any human ought to be able to live anywhere. Nice sentiment, however, even the Hunter-gatherers would fight over territories. Ten thousand years back, humans began to settle down in farms, and then cities, and then countries. That’s when lines were drawn. There were migrants, but the migrants came to partake. Otherwise, one would be considered an invader.

A huge amount of the migrants today are indeed, invaders. You may think that harsh, but what is truly harsh is to punish one’s own citizens by allowing people with unacceptable or strange ideas and behaviors to live among them. It’s bad enough when bad actors sneak it, what is worse is when a young man picks up a knife and kills and injures girls having fun on a Saturday afternoon. That is worth a good riot to let off the steam built up over years of being ignored by the political class. 

My call to action is to rid ourselves of the political class. They are the problem. They are liars and whores and thieves who don’t give a fig about the people. Unless one is rich, they only thing they want from the working and middle classes is their vote, and a cut of their paychecks. The rest of the time, workers are to go home and shut up. Just say no to that. I suggest screaming at them is a better option.
