Greetings all! And happy Fourth to my Patriot Friends, and unhappy Fourth to my Monarchist Friends.
This is episode 1 of my podcast on Why We Study History. From this podcast, which fits the the day’s event, we will travel back in episode 2, as we begin to answer the question, why do we study history? Of course, to understand the question, we have to review the history of humanity.
I will supply, for each episode, a reading list. Since I have written and presented quite a bit on the 10 Crucial Days period of the War for Independence, my reading list is fairly extensive.
